2016 - Kre Wehunt ($200) - Osteosarcoma
Kre Wehunt was a Lumpkin County High School graduate that was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2015. She battled cancer for three years and never wavered from her faith or lost hope. In May of 2016, when Team Give Back was first created, we were able to raise $200 for her. She was an inspiration to all that knew her. She lost her battle in August of 2018.
2017 -Alex Speir ($1,550) - Diabetic Alert Dog (Type II Diabetes)
Alex Speir is a teenager from Dahlonega who is battling type II diabetes. Team Give Back hosted our 1st Annual Team Give Back Benefit Event in Clermont, Georgia May 13, 2017 to raise money for Lucy, her diabetic alert dog. Our event consisted of a 15, 25 and 50 mile bike ride.

2018 - Charlotte Session ($7,000) - Diabetic Alert Dog (Type II Diabetes)
Charlotte was a vibrant, spunky and talented 10 year old who battles type II diabetes. Team Give Back hosted our 2nd Annual Benefit Event on April 28, 2018 and the proceeds from our raffle on September 2018 went towards a diabetic alert dog for Charlotte. In August of 2019, Charlotte was able to purchase and meet Baymax.
2018 - Jaelyn Hontz ($500) -Travel and meal expenses- Brain Cancer
In October of 2018, Jaelyn had continued to complain about headaches. Her family took her to the doctor and found out that Jaelyn had brain cancer. Team Give Back did an online fundraiser from November to December of 2018, and was able to raise $500 for the family of Jaelyn. The money was used for fuel, food and lodging for the 6-week stay while in Jacksonville, Florida for her radiation therapy.
2019 - Hope Nix ($16,138.44) - Wheelchair-Accessible Van (Acardia Syndrome)
On March 16, 2019, Team Give Back hosted our 3rd Annual Team give Back Benefit Event, which consisted of a Fun Run, 5K, 10K and a bike ride with 25, 50 and 62 mile options. The proceeds raised from the event and outside donations went toward the Nix family's wheelchair-accessible van for Hope.
2019 - The Nix Family House Fire ($47,153.44)
One week after the March 16th benefit event for Hope Nix, the Nix Family came home to their home in flames. As Nate, Hope's father, touched the door handle to open the door on a late Friday night, he noticed the knob was extremely hot. He stepped back and realized that the house was on fire. The fire department got there very quickly, but unfortunately their new puppy was inside and did not survive the fire. All proceeds went toward home rebuild.
2019 - Jaxson Kilpatrick ($1,900) - Medical expenses (Eosinophilic Gastroenteritis)
For three years, Jaxson battled an illness that the doctors could not figure out exactly what it was. Finally, after many doctor and specialist visits, the family found out that Jaxson suffers from a rare GI disorder. On September 28, 2019, Team Give Back held a raffle and all proceeds went for his on going medical expenses.
2020 - Carsten Ussery ($17,000) - Stability Dog
Carsten suffers from a chromosone abnormality which has forced him to have multiple surgeries, hospital stays, fall risks, hearing loss and a sensory development disorder. The stability dog was an asset for Carsten to help him walk in public parks and streets without the use of a walker.
